The more I look into this, I will say that unless the Linux Distro or KDE teams take some issue with this (and I haven't seen that anywhere), I take this as David has pointed out: MAUI is an acronym and not the name of the project.

I see what you mean. My original tweet was about small teams, that can't compete with the resources of entities like MSFT. Bitcoin is a different beast, as it's audited if we use the Linux kernel codebase they still find vulns from time to time.
