Requires fixes to PS: Currently, PS sets ErrorBackgroundColor to black (not the new "default background color". We'll be working with @Steve_MSFT & team to figure out how to change this in future releases. pic.twitter.com/17WTPQQPp3
Fit, but by fit we mean somebody that can work as a part of the team. Not a clone :) Beyond that we don’t really set any expectations RE personality or background. we are very different from each other and any person that is friendly and respectful is welcome in the team.
@theranjad Hi Raanah, I am not sure your marketing team realize this but they forgot to remove the audio watermark on the background track. You can hear it at 1:00 and 1:14. Was not expecting that from a company like MSFT - https://youtu.be/0ebJvEsVAnc
And another one bites the dust.
Here's the EdgeHTML team's background on ditching the browser engine that forked off of Trident (Internet Explorer) 3 years ago, to power MSFT Edge, which now moves to Chromium (and with that, towards macOS). https://twitter.com/shanselman/status/1070776966934974464…
Btw, I'm not questioning why terminal team is slow or why features are not there. I am questioning why putting a background and tons of other cosmetic features find its way to your sprint while the neccessary features are missing.
Thanks for all you do.
P.S. when is that hand raising feature coming out.
P.P.S. When do we get the cool custom background feature all the MSFT people get to play with.
Oh and our usage of Teams up like 1000%!
My PowerShell Core background originally was a @shanselman special. AKA "the distracting space gif". Fun, but a little *too* distracting for me to keep live more than a day. I do love the ability to put a different background for each shell. pic.twitter.com/EzphOZpFJ2
Yep! We’re a MSFT shop anyway lol but yeah I can definitely see that. It’s all about where your team is honestly. Do we want to ramp people up on angular or just let them use their C# .net background. Huge productivity
